Transforming a Large Organization to Fully Passwordless

Passwordless authentication is all the rage, especially in terms of how it can improve an organization’s identity risk posture and bring you closer to the goal of full phishing resistance. But how would you go about actually moving to passwordless? Is it possible to go the full distance and actually remove passwords from end users instead of just giving them passwordless options?

In this session, we will review how a large global organization has done exactly this. We’ll review the overall approach for achieving broad passwordless compatibility across the application stack and the process or enabling end users with passwordless options on their devices. We’ll then explore how password authentication was actually removed from the entire user base, leaving only passwordless authentication options. This session will cover both the technology changes required to make this happen as well as journey management aspect of supporting users through this change.
